April 27th to April 30th 2017The colorful Kit Carson Mountain Men will rendezvous for their living history Days of 49 Wagon Train re-enactment through the Gold Country, where everyone is invited to visit with horse-men and women at stops and encampments along the way. All public events are free.

An authentic wagon train of 15 horse-drawn covered wagons will start their journey from the encampment at Amador County Fairgrounds through Plymouth, Drytown, Amador City and Sutter Creek, to Jackson for a celebration of California’s pioneer heritage.
The public is invited to join the wagon train nightly for barbecue dinners and casual entertainment, such as singing by the campfire.
The Wagon Train 4-day adventure begins at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth and ends on historic Main Street Jackson.
Day 1
Wagon Train departs Amador County FairgroundsPlymouth and loops 49er RV Park
Wagon Train assembles for Historic Plymouth Centennnial Clelebration photo on Main St, Plymouth
11 – 2:00pm
Wagon Train loops through Shenandoah Valley and arrives at Amador County Fairgrounds, Plymouth
Visit the Wagon Train Camp

Day 2
Wagon Train departs Plymouth
Visit Wagon Train on Old Hwy 49, Amador City (short stop)
Late Lunch
Visit Wagon Train on Main Street, Sutter Creek (Lunch stop)
Wagon train continues to Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Hill
Visit the Wagon Train Camp
BBQ Dinner available
Campfire entertainment, live music, dancing

Day 3
9 am – 5 pm
Days of 49 at the Kennedy Mine (Upper entrance): Free family fun — Gunslingers, pony rides, Gold Rush history, BBQ lunch  and ice cream social available.
Wagon Train leaves Italian Picnic Grounds

Cowboy Church Services, Kennedy Mine Chapel
10am – 1 pm
Miner’s Brunch (Breakfast burritos) available on Main St.
Kit Carson Mountain Men Wagon Train Parade begins at Main Street Jackson.
