Fans of Amador County history and culture — Mark Sunday Sept. 20 on your calendars!
That is the date of this year’s Days of 49 Celebration on Main Street — and it is shaping up to be even better (and bigger) than last year. The Kit Carson Mountain Men Wagon Train will leave from Shenandoah Valley on Thursday Sept. 17 and we hope you will plan to enjoy the wagon train evening campfire/barbecues and free entertainments as well as be on hand to enjoy the Main Street parade and Amador County living history festivities on Sunday.
Jackson Business & Community Assoc. is organizing Sunday’s Main Street “Days of 49” celebration. We have a fantastic line-up of entertainment planned! This is a great opportunity for your organization to showcase itself with a living history activity, exhibit or fundraising booth. We want to offer free or low-cost activities for families. Food and beverage booths available to non-profit groups only.
— Please let us know if you will want a booth space on Main Street or any other plans you have for the day.
— Join the parade! Get your group visibility in the Wagon Train Parade, Sunday morning.
